All parents are strongly encouraged to join the GGHS Aquatics Boosters. The group meets once a month and is critical to keeping our program alive. Their fundraising efforts provide a major source of funding for all of our programs. In addition, they put together our banquets, and provide snacks and drinks for our teams after meets and games.

Being a member of the booster club will not take a lot of your time, but will do a lot for the program. Please attend the next meeting for more information.

Parents, we need your support and so do your children! We need parents to volunteer for the following:

President:  as executive officer, shall preside at all meetings, appoint all committees, serve as fundraiser chairman, and administer all Booster Club business.
Vice-President:  shall assume the duties of the President in his/her absence and perform such duties as requested by the President.
Secretary:  shall record all proceedings at meetings, handle correspondence as directed by the President and Board, and shall be responsible for maintaining membership records and calendar.
Treasurer:  shall be responsible for the collection of monies due the Club and make all disbursements in a timely manner, shall preserve copies of all invoices, receipts, statements and bank statements; shall maintain accurate records of the Club’s financial affairs and furnish the board with said information on a monthly basis.
Meetings will be held the first Monday of the month at 7pm in room B3, unless stated otherwise

We also need parents to volunteer for the following:

Varsity team parent (x4: Boys Water Polo and Girls Water Polo, Boys and Girls Swimming)
Responsible for communications to other Varsity parents regarding the season
Provides snacks for the kids at night games or tournaments. (Expenses will be reimbursed by the boosters.)

JV team parent (x2: Boys and Girls Water Polo Only)
Responsible for communications to other JV parents regarding the season
Provides snacks for the kids at night games or tournaments. (Expenses will be reimbursed by the boosters.)

Frosh/Soph team parent (x1: Girls Water Polo Only)
Responsible for communications to other FS parents regarding the season
Provides snacks for the kids at night games or tournaments. (Expenses will be reimbursed by the boosters.)

Regardless of whether you have the time for one of these commitments, or your child swims, plays water polo, or both, we need your involvement.

We also need ALL parents to be available for our annual fundraiser - The Fireworks Booth!
